Restorative yoga is a gentle, deeply restful class where by using props such as bolsters, blankets,
blocks, belts, chairs and the yoga ropes, students are able to hold poses for long periods of time.
This extended time in postures helps to bring all the physiological and psychological benefits that
the poses create without effort. It is a wonderful way to unplug, de-stress and recharge!
This class is also the perfect choice for those students who are recovering from an injury or illness.
Supporting standing, seated, back bending , twisting and inverted poses are all explored.
Basic Pranayama (breath awareness) techniques are presented as well.

Experience yoga postures in a new way, using the ropes to help educate the body and encourage
correct alignment. In these special classes we explore the various ways that working with ropes
can aid and enhance your yoga postures. You can experience a wonderful release in the spine and
joints as many rope postures create traction. Rope workshops are limited to a class size of 10,
therefore, prepaid-registration is required.
